Jokin aika sitten piti ottaa filmirullalla olleet muutamat kuvat, jotta voisin kehittää sen. En viitsinyt kuitenkaan ottaa mitään "turhia" räpsyjä vain sen takia, että voisin kehittää rullan, vaan päätin varta vasten lähteä ulos kuvaamaan filmin loppuun. Ruutuja oli jäljellä vain kolme ja ohessa on niistä kaksi.
Kuviin saa uudenlaista tunnelmaa ja syvyyttä oikealla sommittelulla ja sijoittamalla kohteen etualalle jotain mielenkiintoisia elementtejä. Tässä tapauksessa kyse on puiden lehvästöistä, mutta ne on tarkoituksella jätetty epätarkaksi massaksi, joka vain kehystää kohdetta. Tällöin katse kiinnittyy kohteeseen ja se tulee paremmin esille. On kai lukemattomia tapoja soveltaa ohjetta, mutta tässä pari omaa tulkintaani.

Behind the trees
Once I had a film roll which had only 3 frames left. I didn't want to take some random pictures to get the roll full so I went to near harbour to take rest of the pictures. Here are two of them.
You can get more interesting pictures when you frame the subject with something. In other words you put something in the front of the subject. This time I framed the subject with trees. By this technique you get the attention to the subject itself. I think there are numerous ways to use this technique, but here's my effort.
I like the chimney with the Fibonacci sequence. It's one of the landmarks of the city. The second one is an old prison called Kakola. That's where the bad boys lived, but not anymore as the prison is empty now.
