Kävin edellisviikonloppuna testaamassa uutta neulanreikäkameraani ja samalla paria vanhaa myös. Kuva onnistuikin heti, vaikka jäikin hieman alivalottuneeksi. Eli kaksi minuuttia ei ollut vielä tarpeeksi pitkä valotusaika niissä olosuhteissa.
En ole vielä tehnyt suljinta kameraani, joten tämä oli vain pelkkä testikuva kameran piirron ja valotusajan testaamiseksi. Täytyy vielä tehdä ihan oikea suljin tuon väliaikaisen teippisulkimen tilalle. Harmi, että tässä kohtaa tein pienen suunnitteluvirheen kun sijoitin neulanreikälevyn kameran ulko- enkä sisäpuolelle. Suljin olisi helpompi tehdä ja siitä tulisi myös kauniimpi jos levy olisi kameran sisäpuolella. No, tästä on hyvä ottaa oppia seuraavaa kameraa ajatellen.
Mutta nyt ainakin omistan itse tekemäni ja hienoja panoraamakuvia ottavan neulanreikäkameran. Ja sehän tulee tietysti tarpeeseen!

Testing my pinhole camera
I tested my new pinhole camera about a week ago. It seems that 2 minutes wasn't enough for this, because the picture is a bit under exposured.
I haven't done the shutter yet, but I was only a testing the sharpness and exposure time of my camera. I used duct tape as a cover for the pinhole, but I must do more sophisticated shutter to replace it. Unfortunately I made a mistake during the design phase of the camera - the pinhole plate should have been put inside the camera, not outside. This way it would have been easier to make the shutter construction and the camera would also look better. Oh well, at least now I'm wiser for the next camera project.
Yeah, but how cool panoramic pinhole camera I have now!
